Are you a family with children that have special needs? Have you financially addressed your child's future?
The PCRG Special Needs Resource is a group of advisers that have dedicated a portion of their practice to helping families and their children with special needs.
As financial advisers with a passion of giving back to the community, we have developed a “Facilitated Conversation Program.” We have partnered with an estate attorney who has expertise with special needs law in Washington. We coordinate with facilities who provide care for families and their children with special needs and then facilitate two-hour group conversations. We discuss and answer questions concerning financial strategies and the legal framework needed to protect the interests of the family. These are safe places for families to ask what they may consider “dumb questions” about financial literacy or estate planning. Attendees often comment that they felt as if they were “not alone” in their struggles and enjoyed the informal group format. We always learn from each other and discover new resources we did not know existed.
